Assets from First Marriage
My ex-husband is remarrying and we have barely been divorced. Do the assets acquired in our marriage stay with him or after his remarriage does it become ''theirs''?

Re: Assets from First Marriage
You need to partition the community property and get your 1/2 ASAP. What is community between you and your X remains community, however, if that community property generates income or dividends etc, then the income or dividend could be classified as community property between your X and his new wife. So, split the community to preserve your interest.
Re: Assets from First Marriage
Every asset or debt acquired between the wedding and the filing with the Clerk of Court of the divorce petition is the community property of you and your ex-spouse.
