Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I want back in

I was not in my son life for the first two years of his life, I felt I wasn't good enough so I hide from him and his mother. In that time she filed for full custody and I agreed so currently she has sole custody. I met a women who's getting a divorce and her and her kids live with me I've now decided that I should be involved in my sons life , his mother said for now I can vist my son ever son from 3 hours and in 6 months if everything works out we will discuss futher options. Is this fair?

Whether its fair or not is up to you. Atleast its a start. Another issue is whether or not you are providing any support for your child. I suggest you consult an attorney to explore all your options.
