Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
bad parent
i didnt hear from my husband for
over a week, he finally called from
offshore. We have a baby together,
he went out and spent over 600.00
of our marital money on hotel and
atm withdraws (drugs), he cut off his
direct deposit so we dont have any
income; his phone records show calls
at all hours of the night. My car is on
its last leg, I have children to
transport places I have no job; no
dependable way to go look for one;
and no money for a babysitter; my
family lives out of state. Now he tells
me that he is going to take my baby
from me. I am a good mother with
no criminal history at ALL! Can his
man legally treat me like this?

He can treat you as badly as you let him. Get to legal aid and get their help. You will need an emergency order for custody and to attempt to get money from his employer. You may not be able to do it as quickly as you need, but you have to move. If I am not wrong, I believe this is the 2nd or 3rd time you have asked this question, so you are letting time pass.
