Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
child behavior
I am a divorced father of 2 boys, ages 7 & 10. The older one is giving me alot of trouble about spending time with me. He tells me that I cannot correct him because he tells his mother that I am being mean to him & she is calling her attorney and they are going to take away my visitation.. I don't spank him, I do make him clean up the messes he makes, and I do yell at him. He does things like getting on the roof & jumping off, lighting my burn pile outside without any supervision, going outside & riding his skateboard in the street, lying to me on a regular basis, & numerous
other things that he knows he is not suppose to do. When I correct his he says I'm telling mama you're mean to me & shes going to call her lawyer. I have asked her about this and shes says that its not true, however she has been known to lie to me also. What are the chances that she can have my visitation priviledges taken away based on what he tells her?

Re: child behavior
Video your visits.
I don't know what your ex will do. I do know that divorced kids sometimes try to play the parents against each other. Family counseling is not a bad idea.
