Child Custody/ Domicital Partent

I am thinking of leaving my husband and would like to know what I need to do to get Domicilary Parent of my three week old daughter. I would also like to know what I need to do to get sole custody of her.

Contact an attorney. Unless you can show that the father is bad for the child you probably won't get sole custody. Whether you or he are named domiciliary parent is determined by the Court's opinion of the "best interest of the child".
