Re: about child custody and child support

She can rule you into court for contempt is she has a judgment giving her "reasonable visitation", but the probabilities of her success depend on how "unreasonable" you have been. A child has the right to know and love both of his or her parents. You can rule her into court to set child support. You would probably end up with a judgment awarding you child support and her, fixed visitation.

The right to visit is independent from the obligation to pay support, and vice versa. The right to receive support belongs to the child, so you should ask the court to set a reasonable amount. If you already have a judgment setting the monthly amount, rule her into court and seek a judgment for the amount in arrears, and get an income assignment for future payments.
