Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Child custody -what does Tutrix mean?

I can't find the definition of tutrix. It is a term used in a suite against a father for custody of his chidren. The word appears as ''natural tutrix'' in a section title of some legal documents. What does Tutrix mean?
