Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Child custody?

I have a 1yr old who has never bonded with her father and he has not wanted anything to do with her. Out of nowhere hes says he wants her to stay the night with him and his girlfriend she does'nt know him and cries when she sees him. My question is do i have to let her go stay with them.

I am assuming there is no child custody order. I would suggest that someone file to establish custody & visitation. Until there are Court orders he could take the child & leave without negative legal consequences.
