Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
Child Support Clause
I have a question regarding the calculation of child support in Louisiana. I would like to know if they consider other children not involved with the case when calculating child support obligations. I have two children with my ex-wife with whom I pay child support to. I also have two children with my current wife. Does the system take into consideration that I have two other children to support other than the children I have with my ex wife when they determine child support? Sorry i asked that question twice but thought it was phrased badly the first way.

Re: Child Support Clause
The presumed correct amount of child support is based on a calculaton from the child support tables.
You are allowed to deduct things such as court ordered prior child support or spousal support.
For the most part your expenses are not ordinarily considered unless there are unusual.
