Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Can the custodial parent request more child support from non-custodial parent if they remarry and new spouse has significantly more income? In other words, will new support be based on new spouse's income?

Re: child support
Child support can only be increased to the extent the new spouse's income decreases the expenses of the non-custodial parent.
In most cases, no.
