Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

child support modification

i am currently filing a motion to have my visitation modified and placing my ex in contempt.so, far she has violated everything in the court order from a to z.Now, that i just got served with papers for child support modification. The only thing i can see that will go wrong with this is that my ex wife makes more money than i do iam curently in school to further my job career in the medical field as a nurse. The last modification that i had was in Aug.04 it stayed the same 622 a month for 3 kids.by me going to court and filing for contempt does this mean that my ex will get an increase in support if she is making more money than iamex feels as though that i don'tcall to speak to her that i am making more money.(which i am not)i told her what do i have to speak to her if my kids are of age (9,11,13.so i think this is her problem.anyway, does she have a leg to stand one if i file contempt? thank for any replies.......

Re: child support modification

If she has violated the orders file to have her found in contempt. You can ask the court to reduce your support obligation also.

Consult with a lawyer because your situation sounds too complicated for a quick answer.
