Child Support

What is the punishment for being in contempt of court for not paying child support monthly but my husband also have a receipt from the IRS of payment for child support deducted from his taxes. Can they put him in jail for this?

He can get up to 6 months in jail. If the IRS receipt catches him up on his arrearages, then he should not be in trouble.
