Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

child support

Yesterday, my husband of 16 years told me that a woman he knew some 30 years ago is saying that he is the father of her child. He told me he never went out with her or had sex with her. He had to have a lawyer speak to her and her family 30 years ago about this situation. I don't know why she is spreading these rumors again or what she wants. I guess I am basically asking what legal recourse does my husband have? We have a 15 year old son that we which to protect if it comes to that. What should we/he do?

Please let us know as soon as possible if there are any steps we need to take to protect our family.

If she files suit against your husband for child support, he can ask for a DNA test.
