My 18 yr. old dthr. is dropping out of high school in Alexandria, LA. & moving to Baton Rouge, LA with me & enroll in a GED program. How long will my former wife be entitled to child support payments?

Assuming she is a normal child, until she gets her GED or turns 19 years of age. But why should the mom get support if the child is with you?
