Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
child visitation and child support
Me and my ex made an agreement concerning our son. I was moving to texas because I remarried. The agreement stated that I would pay my sons plain fare to CA for a 3 month visit. We did that at the time. Then I moved back to CA for a year where my ex was to see our son every other weekend. It did not alway turn out that way. He always had other plans. I could not aford to live in CA anymore so I left and moved to LA with my ex permission. He signed the agreement that I could move to LA with our son. That was all the new agreement said. Now my ex is asking for me to pay our sons way out to CA for visit or to Pay his way here to visit him. I am a single parent, and cannot aford to pay plainfare for either one, and it was not in the last agreement. My ex also sent a bad child support check and has still not made up for it. I was wondering it the agreement we made when I move to texas still stands or because I am in a new state and the paper signed by my ex just states I could move with our son is all I have to worry about.
