Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My children's father has two other kids on child support and I am about to start a case on him with our two also. He doesnt have a job and neither do I. He pays $217 for his little boy in Webster Parish and $300 something for his little girl in Caddo Parish. We stay in Webster Parish also. How does this process work? Will I get around $200 for each one of my kids?

Child support is based on both incomes. The first two orders of child support take precedence over yours-this will be subtracted from his income prior to calculating what he has to pay for these last two

children. Since he is not working they will use the smallest income on the chart which is $100 for 2 children.
