Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I am a US citizen and a Louisiana resident (for the last 4 years). I'm in Morocco for the moment (about a month). I'd like to file for divorce. My situation is: we got married in Morocco (both my husband and I are originally from Morocco) 6 years ago, and we have double citizenship. I'd like to file for divorce in Morocco (i prefer to be close to my family in this difficult process - we have a child from this marriage). Will my "Moroccan divorce" be recognized in the US? or should i file for an other one in the US?

You should file for divorce where the matrimonial domicile is. If you and your husband are domiciled in Louisiana now, you should file for divorce in Louisiana even if you are separately residing out of the country for a while. Residence and domicile are two different things. If your marital home is here, your domicile is here, even if you are currently residing elsewhere. The fact that you have dual citizenship doesn't matter for purposes of jurisdiction. The relevant factor is where your domicile is.
