Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
Clothing During Visitation
Is it required by law for the custodial parent to send clothing with the non-custodial parent during visits. I am the custodial parent and have always sent at least 2 outfits for purposes of emergency, etc with the non-custodial parent. However, I am wanting to not send any clothing because of the fact that they either do not come back, come back dirty and this last time came back with human feces in them. I think this is inappropriate. Also, he hasn't paid child support in the past 6 months as well. We do live in different states and he has 4 weeks in the summer, 2 weeks during holiday (Christmas) and 1 week for spring break. The child is currently 4 years old in elementary school.

Re: Clothing During Visitation
Take him to court and have the conditions changed. Sue for back support. You cannot stop visits because he is not paying support. However, should you decide to get married, then the new man can adopt based on failure to pay support. Then wait on the back support until you see your attorney.
