Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

community property

My husband and his ex-wife divorced 25 yrs.ago. They did not settle on the house. She moved out and he continued to live in the house. He had the house refinanced and is continuing to pay the mortage. His name is the only name on the mortage now. They have a 32yr old daughter together. We have a nine year old daughter together and he has 2 other illegitimate children who are 24 and 29. We have also purchased other property together.

What are his ex-wife and children entitled to if was to die.

Re: community property

If the house was purchased while they were married, then she owns 50%. He is entitled to some credit for paying the note and maintaining it. He can write a will leaving the adult children out of his inheritance. His ex-wife's child would still inherit from her mother. He needs to consult a lawyer.
