Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

custody documents?

we are seperating after a 3 year legal

marraige in Louisiana. We have one

daughter together she is 14 months.

My husband goes off and does not

come home for periods of time and

usually drains the bank account too!

A while I had to call the police

because he was threatening me with

a gun (2006) He persuaded me to

drop the charges; rip up the

restraining order; and let him move

back in after having him evicted. It

was after that I got pregnant with

our daughter.

He signed a document that we

drafted that clearly states he is of

sound mind and understands that

should we seperate/divorce/or I need

to file domestic violence charges

against him that he gives up all

custodial rights to our daughter and I

have sole legal/physical custody of

our daughter regarding but not

limited to to education;

religion;geographically living

arrangements;

medical; visitation matters. That

being said he has pulled a disapearing

act again after starting and Im just

tired of it. What should I do to legally

enforce my custodial document

without emptying my pockets?

Re: custody documents?

Your documents might be unenforceable. I suggest you seek a capable divorce lawyer.
