How does the dad who is paying child support regularly without fail get court appointed law help to stop the mothers harassment for more money . She files about every 6 months. She does not work. The boy is in reform school now, but she somehow get a court appointed lawyer to file against the dad and he has no money as this has been going on for about 7 years now. Is his lawyer negligent ?

The court will not appoint an attorney for civil matters. You can apply with legal services or the bar association pro Bono project in your area. Your attorney has no control over the other party. An increase in child support can occur anytime there is a 25% increase in income. The only way she could get an appointed attorney is if child support was in arrears.
