Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

my daughter lives with her father in missouri. she is 17. we have never had any type of legal custody on either side. can she move in with me against her fathers wishes at 17? i live in louisiana.

Probably yes, but you should ask a Missouri lawyer to be certain, as that state would have jurisdiction.

If there is no danger, why not wait until she is 18?
