Debts incurred while couple is separated?

I left my husband and have rented an apartment for 6 months. Now is divorce and property settlement time. Do I include my rental fees as an expense that I paid during this time? He has paid the house note and car note and putting that as expenses. Are these expenses to be added together and divided?
