Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I have the deed to my home that I own with my ex husband, he passed away last year. How do I get Chase Home Finance to remove his name from the account.

You can't just remove his name because he passed away. If you two split your community property and you were awarded the home in the community property settlement, then you can present the Judgment awarding the home to you as proof of your individual ownership. If you were never awarded the home, his heirs own his portion of the home now and his half of the home will have to go through succession.
