Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

If my divorce case is finalized and on file in Louisiana but I currently live in Florida, can I still file an affidavit in Louisiana to change the visitation schedule of my daughter?

No......the only way you can transfer the case to Florida, is to TRANSFER THE CASE TO FLORIDA. If the baby's daddy still lives in Louisiana, then you are pretty much out of luck without the dad's consent. I am very surprised you were able to move with the child out of state without at least a hearing before the Judge in Louisiana. What Parish is your divorce and custody matter filed in?
