Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Going thru a divorce. No children. Grounds: Admitted to Criminal Activity thru the courts. In the temp orders, Judge granted me my truck (no leinholder) she her car (leinholder). She has refused to pay the notes and it will be repossessed on Sept 9th. My attorney told me up to this point not to pay notes due to the order. The bank sent me a note stating they will sue me and it will affect my credit (under community property laws) if I don't pay the arrears. I have asked for the car, and I would give her the truck (no notes) she refuses. The family judge cannot not order her to give me possession because it is financed solely in her name. We bought during our 16 year marriage, his hands are tied. What is my recourse?

Contact the lender and offer to buy the car and pay the notes from them. They want your money more than they want that car.
