Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Divorce filed in Louisiana He lives in FL and I live in PA how can i fight it

My ex is in Florida. He file for divorce in Louisiana. He took all of the property except one car and one computer. He has since sold most of it. I lost a good job because of emotional stress due to his adultry. How can I fight this and receive alimony or some sort of support so that I can get back on my feet. He went to school while we were married. I tried to go to school and that is when all H#ll broke lose. I lost my financial aid and everything. Please help me and shed some light on what I can do.

You need to secure a Louisianna attorney. If he and you are both non residents Louisianna should have no jurisdiction to process the divorce. As a general rule any party to a divorce action either the plantiff or defendant may plead for alimony and other economic relief. I offer free consultations.
