Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

divorce proceedings

When going through a divorce what are the steps for community property settlement? If discovery and interrogatories are not answered by the defendant is there anything that can be done to make them answer? What if they refuse? Thanks

Re: divorce proceedings

If the discovery has not been provided, then a motion to compel discovery should be filed. The motion should include a request for costs and attorney's fees.

I would also wonder if you or your ex have filed detailed descriptive lists of the property?
