Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I need a divorce. We have been separated for 3 years and have no children. I live in Louisiana and he lives in Mississippi and already has a child with someone else, I don't want to spend $1,000's of dollars. We are both willing to sign them.

An uncontested divorce should not cost $1000s. You can file a civil code article 103 divorce-separated over 6 months, he can accept service and you can proceed to a default judgment 15 days from service. Shop around and im sure you'll find a reputable attorney at an affordable cost.
