Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I am now divorced and trying to get my ex to sell the house which is in both of our names. He will not agree on anything to do with the house. i have been paying the note for 2 years while he has been living there. He left to work out of town for a week or two, which has now turned into 6 months. Is there a abondoment law in Louisiana which would allow me to sell the house myself?

You need to settle the community property. The judge can order a sale of the house and reimbursement if appropriate.
