domestic violence
My husband has been violent toward
me in the past and I have had to call
the police etc... I am now filing for
divorce,( we have children) Is there
any law that can get me a divorce
sooner that a year - I just want this
man out of our lives !!!

The first step would be for you to make sure that you have a restraining or protective order in place. This would provide protection to you and your children from your husband's violence.
