Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I am the domicile parent of my 6 yr old daughter. I live in La. mom moved to Ark in jan 09. She has remarried and now wants to be the domicile parent. Can she just go to court and get this or does she have to prove that i am not fit?

It will be done according to the best interest of the child. Since the child has been living with you for 6 years it seems likely she will stay with you. However, the court will want to know all the facts to make a decision.
