What is Due Me?
My father married when I was 5 years old, my real mom died when I was a baby. The step mother supposedly adopted me, I do not know for sure. It was an abusive situation and i left as soon as I could. She had 2 other children from a previous marriage, and had no others with my father. When my dad died, I did not receive a penny. I have recently learned of her death, I was not notified, nor did I receive anything from her estate. My question is... am I entitled to anyhing from the deaths of my father or stepmother?

Unless your father wrote a will which left everything to someone else and unless you were over 23 when he died, you are his heir. Your (step) mother is another issue. If she adopted you then you have the same rights to her property. If she did not adopt then you have no rights.
