earning potential
ex earned 78K prior to split. Quit her job then filed for divorce 1 mo later. I got saddled with the majority of child support. I have no issue carrying my kids, but what is the law where ex has kids in daycare full time but is working a ''comission only job'' where she gets paid less than min wage (going on 18 mos now).
She is gaming the system.

If your children are over 5 years of age, then her entire $78,000 income potential should be taken into account. Since you mention daycare, they must be very young. Since you do not mention how the hearing officer or Judge came up with whatever the figure is you pay, I cannot opine whether it is reasonable.
