Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
My exhusband recently dropped our 18 year sons insurance with no notification. Our son has had open heart surgery due to a connective tissue disease. I quickly added him to my insurance, but the medical bills are adding up. Is there any way to enforce my ex to help with these bills?

It will depend on the support order from the court. Depending on what was awarded, he could be in contempt. An 18 year old usually has to still be a full time student to continue receiving support.
