Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Family Law - Criminal

My issue is regarding a non custodial parent (father) who continues to drive on suspended license, has been arrested several times for driving on suspended license, once with another one of his children in the vehicle with him, and where the father lives in another state different than the child and mother.

Question: Is it illegal to check the license status of the NCP when the state (Florida) has a website that all you have to do is put in the drivers license number and it will give you the status (whether its revoked, valid, suspended, etc) There is no driving history etc given by the website. And I just want to verify the license status so that I won't allow my child to go out of state with him during those periods of suspension so that my son doesn't end up with social services. Also given the distance between states, I can't just pick up and go get my son.

Can I present the evidence of suspended license from the website in a court of law without being penalized (is it legal to check the license ''status'' of someone else's license)?

If it is on a legal website, how can it be illegal to look at it? You know you have already, so don't sweat it. Also, the best interest of the child is what is important, and the reason someone's license is suspended is very important in determining whether the child may be in danger while riding with that person. And, you have a duty to question it, and to object to your son being driven by someone who is breaking the law everytime he drives. E-mail me with his Dr. L. number and I will check it out for you.
