Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
family property
my husband has 4 adults kids and we have a 13 yr. old together. We live in his home on his property which is also his family property. If something happens to him, what happens to my daughter and I?

The answer to your question depends on a lot of things. Does he have a will? Has he donated 1/2 the house to you, or if not, will he? What are your plans? Do you work? Are you independently wealthy? No one can predict what will happen to you and your child if your husband dies. Much of that depends on you.
