Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
I am a father of 2 children in Louisiana (11 and 16 years old). My wife and I agreed to her having custody of the boys and I would pay child support payments. She has since then kicked the 16 year old out to come live with me. What would I have to do to legally stop the support payments for the 16 year old? Do I need to get a lawyer or could I just go to the judge?

Wherever the child support was set and ordered is where you would have to file to alter that Judgment. You need an Attorney. It would be highly irregular for you to speak with the Judge.
