Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I have a fifteen year old niece who had a boy forced himself on her and now she just found out a few days ago that she is 5 months pregnant. The boy doesn't want to have any thing to do with her and we're not gettting much progress from his family neither. What could she and her mother do to get some help from him and his family?

There could be criminal charges brought against the boy if he is really the father and there is a difference in age of over 2 years. You should file a paternity suit for one thing. Then after he is proven to be the father you can sue for support.
