Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
I am filing my own uncontested divorce, and filed for preliminary default but my husband responded agreeing to the divorce and now the clerk of court in my parish in Louisiana says I now must file for a hearing instead of a judgement for divorce because he responded. So my motion for preliminary default was denied. Do I really have set up a court date just for us to stand there and agree again?

Yes. Because he answered it cannot be a default.
