forced moves

husband filed for divorce and told wife and kids to move back home with parents in neighbor state or he would not pay bills. Wife and children and moved and enrolled in local schools for over a month. Husband now threatening to force wife to move back out of spite and meanness. Can he??

The law does not create a way for him to force the return of the family. If permitted, other factors (such as economics) might.

I would suggest that the wife/mother consult an attorney immediately. The courts might be able to impose rules that ultimately lessen his control of the situation.
