Future of minor children without will in case of death of parents

What is likely to happen to minor children in the case that there is not a legal will on record requesting whom the guardian will be in the case of a deadly accident involving both parents?

The court will look first to a relative, and then elsewhere. However, simply put, the bottom line is the court will decide custody based on what is "in the best interest of the children."

It depends how many adults want to take in the children.

In case of a dispute the court will decide what it considers to be the "best interest of the child(ren)".
