If you are not sure if the child is yours, why worry? But I suspect you know it is yours. Are you on the birth certificate? If you are, you are the acknowledged father since you would have signed something at the hospital allowing them to place you on the birth certificate. If not, then you must file a paternity suit wherein you request a DNA test, and whatever else your lawyer feels is necessary. You must be prepared to prove you supported her during the pregnancy, during the birth and thereafter, and you are ready willing and able to support the child now. No one should think about whether you are legal, but someone might. I am not versed in immigration law, so I cannot help you there. But, if you are not on the birth certificate and do not know where she is, you have no real chance of stopping her from moving.
