Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

If i give up paternity rights to my child do i still have to pay child support

In 1997 i found out that i have a child , she is now 15 years old.

I am not allowed to see her or have any contact .If I

give up any and all rights will/do I still have to pay child support.
