Re: Holiday visitation

If you buy the tickets and she doesn't comply with the judgment you can rule her into court for contempt. Remedies the court would consider are relieviing you of child support, having her pay you for the tickets, attorney's fees and court costs. The judge could impose a jail sentence and suspend it as long as she complies with the juggment.

Re: Holiday visitation

I would recommend you ask your Louisiana lawyer to request the court specify that either the kids go alone (and they are not really alone because the airline keeps track of them) or she pay for her own ticket.....get that straight NOW or you will be spending more money and you might not get to see the kids....if you want, you can foot her bill this time, and then you will have more time to ask the court to determine who pays for what the next time. The kids need to see their dad and my advice is if you can swing it, take the high road, pay the extra and then get it straightened out in court later.
