Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My hubby has children from a previous marriage. they are 17and 19 years old.We have an 8 year old now. The step kids want visitation with the little one. But they are into things that are bad-- drugs, drinking, and the girl has an illegitimate child. they are not a good influence on her. Do they have any rights to see her? do i have rights to stop them from being around my child? Please advise.

Siblings do not have a right to visit without some kind of court order. Parents in Louisiana have the duties of care and control of their children. You and your husband will decide with whom your child will associate.
