Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My husband and I are discussing seperation/divorce. The home we currently live in was purchased by him prior to our marriage. He refinanced the house during the marriage but I was not added to the mortgage. Does he have a right to change the locks and put my belongings out of the house at his will?

Yes. It is his separate property.

It is his separate property, but in Louisiana the law still tries to protect the poor mistreated wife, so I disagree that he can just PUT YOU OUT. Get a lawyer, NOW!
