Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My husband and his ex-wife (who lives out of state) have joint custody of their child, with my husband being domiciliary parent (the childs lives with us full time, with his ex-wife receiving reasonable visitation). She has sent us a certified letter stating her intent to relocate the child to her residence out of state. We strongly object to this relocation and have an attorney, but are not sure exactly how to file the objectioin. Do we just need to send a letter back to her stating that we object to the relocation, or is there a certain form or specific document that we need to file with the court and then send to her? We have found things online and in (Louisiana) law books that talk about if the domicilary parent wants to relocate the child but nothing about the nondomiciliary parent trying to relocate the child and the domiliary parent objecting.

You said you have an attorney. Get with that attorney and state that you want your objection filed.
