Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My husband and I have been seperated and the petition for divorce was filed in August 2008. We live in Louisiana, we do have a minor child together, so I knew that we would have to wait 365 days to file the final motion and be divorced. The problem now is, that he is refusing to sign the papers. I have not tried to file the final papers, since I am not wanting to waste the money if he will not sign. The question is this: Is there any way in Louisiana with a minor child AFTER the year wait that I can get a divorce without his signature? Is there a certain time frame in addition to this year past that I would need to wait in order to get the divorce without him? By the way, I am the one who filed, and he has not gotten an attorney. We have already had a hearing and came to an agreement on custody and child support. There are no debts or property involved. I simply need him to sign and if not then need to know with a minor child can I get a divorce without his signature.

You do not need his signature......you need to file for the divorce and have him served with that and then get the divorce.
