Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
My husband has a son with his ex girlfriend. She refuses to let him see the child unless he goes to her home to see him and she refuses to let him bring their son to our home or even to his mom's home because she doesn't want him to be around me. Me and the ex have never had any fights or dissagreements, no legal issues and no one has any type of record of any type. We are all law abiding citizens if you need that background. How would he go about getting a patternity test and visitation rights set up for his son, without her putting him on child support. He takes good care of his child and gives her money for his needs every month, they have already agreed upon a monthly amount, but it was a verbal agreement. He wants to be able to spend time with his son just like she gets to everyday. What do you suggest that we do from here so that he can get to see his son and also get a patternity test performed for him. Thanks for your time and your answers.

Well, there are too many questions that I have before I can assist. When was the child born? When was the Judgment awarding a parent custody and setting visitation rights of the other parent. What jurisdiction was the case brought in, in other words, what Parish is the court that will decide the above questions?
